bonn is extremely international as compared to other states. it is situated along the Rhine. in the photo you can see two tall buildings. the tallest is the Post Tower, the name for DP DHL's corporate center.

that's where i work. opposite i can see the UN building - home to UN framework for climate change. there's a nice network of sustainability ngos around the city because of the UN's presence.

just two days ago, i was on the way to work, waiting for my bus to come. this lady came up to me, asking me where i bought my top. what an interesting way to get to know people, since bonn is definitely not home to fashion. i found out that she is of zimbabwean origin, and had been living in bonn for slightly over a year.

amazing.

makes me feel like getting involved in volunteer work again.
