clouds
i've this huge grin on my face; and i've been on cloud nine today, cos i've gotten back my summer term courses results. delighted :D

so glad i applied all my knowledge from literature and history classes in eda. they were of absolute relevance to my paper; i was lucky to have watched a literature-style movie prior to exams (hey, relaxing helps.. :p) and that brought to memory all the tactics and facts i studied in jc.

reminds me of the passion i had back then for all these subjects. taking the course again brought me back to those days of reading South-east asian history; cold war; analysing all these facts. literature. making observations and be sure to substantiate. take a stand on the overall theme of the story and the message the author is presenting. tie it to a central concept and make the whole argument yours :D

this exams made me realize that along the way, i had lost my interest for these; and learning in class had become a chore. i wasn't learning stuff i liked, but when i combine things i love with what i'm studying, i achieve so much more. this moment i'm entering a new chapter.

this is a great confidence booster. i'm a happy happy girl for rediscovering my interests :)
