someone told me yesterday i'm a workaholic.
hmm. is loving what i'm doing every single day a workaholic? then so be it! :)
today i embarked on a day filled with meaningful tasks.
at
10am: had my mc meeting
11am: an lcp call.
12noon: lunch
1pm onwards: i ran around school looking for a colour printer to get the tep documents for the international MC done.
3pm: investigated a case for one of the exchange participants who flew to venezuela; spoke to the LCP of her host LC
work? nope it's not.
this is a character building process, and i'm slowly moving towards cultivating more patience and being effective.
there's this element of cross-cultural communication in my life (and resolving intercultural conflict); imagine communicating constantly with someone from abroad. in those chats, i am acquiring lessons about life in those countries, and gaining a deeper insight into why conflict actually happens when one is abroad.
it's pretty interesting taking the viewpoint of an observer. i actually see the rationale of each party and i do think exchange in a totally foreign land challenges the way you perceive the world.
it's got me thinking on life :) and i like that.
