one stressful day
april's fool day. not my fave day at all.
a trojan horse infected my computer today, and i didn't touch a single pop-up button or something. that thing crypted all my documents. had no choice but to reformat my laptop. because they have locked out all my documents, even if i had succeeded in removing the trojan, there would have been no way to have retrieve my docs unless to pay the despicable guys money to uncrypt my docs. (and in that tiny notepad file they left behind, they threaten to release my documents/photos to the whole wide world) unfortunately, i don't think what they found is very useful to them. most of them are like psychology papers and my work stuff...
they really went through my documents, from my pictures to my essays. the only thing they left untouched was my japanese documents, which i suppose they could not read and had no use for. i cannot use words to express how immensely annoyed/frustrated/upset i am, at the inconsiderateness of such people - my hard work has completely been destroyed.
i had this gnawing feeling the whole day... i had a packed day today, running around for the psychology subject pool participation - couldn't concentrate on the tasks.. wasn't completely myself. and i feel bad for not being able to be so...
anyways, i rushed down to CIT to fix the problem, and now I'm back to square one, working on the script for my presentation on friday. i've two term papers due next monday, and they're totally in thin air now.
