finally managed to take a breather. hung out with mei-xi, laura and geri on friday, and i haven't felt this relaxed in days, perhaps weeks. had a wonderful dinner at the sushi shop at cathay, i was so engrossed taking the salmon sushi, i don't even know what's the name of the shop. great to meet up with geri in such a long while :)

yesterday was valentine's day. my dates were mei-xi and laura (all the singletons spending time together), and we settled for dinner at fish and co in tampines mall. first time i've hung out with smu peeps in tampines! plus we're all easties! tampines mall was teeming with people as usual, but i think there was a decrease in people since most couples might have headed to town for their romantic dates.

all three of us were laughing at so many things, reminiscing about those good ole times in hk where our sumptuous dinner for 2 fed 3 mouths and we paid 10 dollars in total for the seven dishes (and possibly more?) that were served to us.

hm. was it really two years ago that Ripples happened? all those fond memories.

i'm almost done with packing for italy, and mei-xi strongly recommended sipping hot chocolate while i'm there. so it's entered into my mental list of to-do things in rome :)
