tis the season for red packets
haven't blogged for some time.
been extremely busy. now i've made a resolution to be efficient and effective. having three roles in AIESEC and being a student means more juggling to do, but i've been pretty successful so far. used to spend 1 whole day writing one article, at this moment i spend two hours or less doing it - and not compromising on the quality.
this chinese new year was a pretty interesting one. had reunion dinner with aunts and uncles, and i made a good friend this time. met cousin charles and his wife. funny after all these years, we spoke more to each other, and yes- i recommended kal ho naa ho to one more person. she's a filmmaker, so of course we hit it off when we spoke about this topic. (she volunteered to give ber and i a dvd copy of her movie) and she actually read the seagull, i absolutely adore plays! i highly recommend this play to you- it's hauntingly beautiful..
we ended up talking about movies like sense and sensibility, the bbc version of pride and prejudice, hotel rwanda.. and then she said, "you like movies with good writing. most people like movies because of the actors or the acting". yepp, bulls-eye.
and i ignited the interest of one more person in kal ho naa ho.. haha! it's my fave movie of all time.. she's headed off to mustafa to get her copy of kal ho naa ho, cos we went onto youtube for a video of the trailer and she thought they had great shots :)
