truth be told, time passes in a flash because every day has been jam-packed. it's hard to even have time to stop and think and appreciate the small things in life.
it's been ages since i thought much about my time in sri lanka. i miss sri lanka and the lessons i learnt.. those times have gone by so fast, it's already three years on, everyone's like a bumblebee in uni.
mr. ho suggested the idea of going to phnom penh next june to build a library, and i'm enticed by the very thought - to revisit cambodia (one of the places i'm extremely fascinated by and immerse myself in my reflections on life) and bond with the teachers once again.
and in a bid to find my self back. i definitely love learning and life is intense now, but personally i prefer a laidback, slow life. being in singapore, that's like grasping at straw and un-practical. (probably that's why singaporeans are labeled as being pragmatic peeps)
that's one reason i love travelling and taking a step back from the hustle and bustle of city life. sometimes being a traveller, i see how others deal with day-to-day life, and makes me rethink my priorities and what is it i want to do with mine.
travel teaches me life lessons - and i want to be schooled in the school of life;
reflections on life are like the air i breathe on, and that is my true self.
i enjoy :)
i want my december break now.
