global communication crew :)
it was amazing, meeting the individuals who make up the Global Communication Crew 08/09 :)
i remember waiting in line to use the computer during pre-meeting, hoping to receive updates about the gcc.. when it was my turn to access the net, i was reading the information about role allocation from our gcc chair. at the same time, a couple was checking emails at the other computer. they began chatting (loud enough for me to hear) about projects that sounded vaguely familiar, (it seemed like they were reading stuff out from my screen) and a conversation about I am an AIESECer - immediately it struck me that the guy and girl could possibly be Communications responsibles (great!) and even more likely, my fellow GCC teammates! so i asked out of curiosity, "are you guys from the gcc?" and there came a positive reply from the both of them.. that was when i first got to know santiago (colombia) and andreea (romania/sweden)
amazing way of being introduced :) and even more pleased to be able to put a face to the names in the virtual team.
gradually, throughout IC, i was acquainted with more and more faces - lala, lucy, ines (portugal), lilian (brazil), magda (egypt), nil (turkey), alexandra (romania)
we had this awesome video introducing the gcc to the global network, check it out!
