whirlwind weeks.
haven't had time to update this blog. decided to take off 5min of my life to type something into this blog so that it doesn't become defunct and non-existent.
well, life has pretty been much aiesec-centred. went for e-angelz, collected name cards; went for another alumni talk in smu and exchanged more name cards (both for branding and icx). and absorbed quite a bit of info here and there.. like in class and at the talks.
basically from human resource class and the talks: i concluded that i must do all of the following
1. go for job experience, not the pay (when you hear this coming from successful smu alumni, i completely trust them.)
2. complete an overseas working stint- one of the alumni was suggesting that you go do internships overseas cos you never know when you can get posted overseas for long term if you work in singapore
3. network, network, network- you can never emphasize the importance of this enough
4. do as many internships as you can in multiple areas to find out what you are passionate about
