when the sands of time seems to be slipping through your fingers, don't keep a tight grasp on it; instead, the tighter the grasp, the higher the likelihood that Time plays hide-and-seek with you. Stress mounts and Time never returns to your side.

I tried, and made an attempt, to revive that good ole passion and voracious appetite to acquire knowledge through the books. Many a time, my recent efforts to flip through a book till the very end have failed: all the fault of a short attention span and an eagerness to walk off to get down to other work. The beauty of construction of sentences, ingenious phrasing of words, apt metaphors and oxymorons; i fail to appreciate them any longer.

alas! today i walked into a bookstore and plopped myself down, seated comfortably with a book (a seemingly interesting find) in hand, and enjoyably immersed myself in the figurative language and the wealth of knowledge behind those words. absolutely thrilled to have found my way back into love for reading! =)

and found the key to finding lost love: take things easy; take a deep breath and slow down.
