break free of these chains
YAY! i've managed to endure the past few weeks of sheer torture, rushing bgs, pol sc, as presentations.
haven't had a good night's sleep in days. probably weeks. but the past few nights were a total nightmare.
let me start from saturday. had psychology test in the morning, followed by a rehearsal with na for my pol sc presentation. following the presentation, i met up with my bgs group to work on our major presentation. and we got chased out by the security guard.
and so we began our search for an air-conditioned gsr. went around a few times before settling down at the 3rd level and the incessent beeping from the alarms are annoying. learnt to outwit the alarm system. =)
here comes the horrid part. we stayed in school till 2.30am! can you believe that? thank goodness someone gave ann and i a ride to ann's house. and i stayed over at ann's place for the night; spent the entire wee hours of the morning chatting with ann until she got k.o-ed. haha. i'm beginning to think i'm such a chatterbox.
and after waking up the next morning, we went walking around clementi, and then i rushed down to kovan after meeting jessie on the mrt platform for the ct meeting. at first the meeting wasn't too exciting, everyone was just... warming up i guess. eventually by evening, we were working and putting in our best. working with people can be amazing, since you begin to discover their talents. some people can act, sing, play instruments. multi-talented. tsk. i pale in comparison. don't make me stand next to them. haha. ok, then we had dinner where we got to know one another better (bonding time), which made me feel like i like my ct group more and more. and, we ended our meeting on a high note, with some really great scenes for our video and i guarantee sparks are flying between our leads. i mean the scene was extremely well done. well, we had to retake the scene a couple of times, cos the leads kept breaking into laughter and looked rather awkward .. since we made them do silly stuff. and we were sort of trying to control our laughter in the background. haha~ just the thought of that scene makes me laugh! stay tuned. i might post the video clip here (the leads balk at the very thought of it; they insist their reputations are ruined for the next 4 yrs)
haha. and we finally presented our bgs major today! yes! yes! yes! my most dreaded lesson is over. thought ann did a great job in presenting and wrapping up the presentation.
and.. we no longer have to meet the guys anymore. no hard feelings, just.. completing different working styles. we're better off as acquaintances, in my opinion.
