rants and raves
in my most recent entry (which is this entry), i'll come across as rather frustrated, annoyed, etc.. so please bear with me.

i've been displeased at a number of issues
1) one groupmate missed all our meetings (he is not a slacker, but..) because he went to meet his girlfriend. -.-" one of the worst reasons ever.
2) another guy missed our most important meetings, didn't know what was going on, didn't contribute, and was so defensive about us wanting proof that he had a high fever. and, apparently, he was soo sick and yet well at the same time to get to school on time for our meeting after we bugged him for an mc if he wasn't coming.
3) and thanks to those 2 people, i'm sick of working with IS guys. trust me, i'm counting down the days (8 more days) before i can stop sitting in the same room and doing the project together with these people. and once that day comes, i'll be screaming for joy.
4) had a presentation meeting with my partner and we had to meet the prof. and we were supposed to meet earlier. called her about 7 times, and once she hung up on me. yepp, and she called me back, saying she had a fever.
5) and for yet another project, i'm doing some creativity course. and my group has a dominating figure, and any other person who offers a different suggestion gets shot down. yeppers, only one loud voice booming, and the others' drown in that very loud sound. except for those who agree with that booming sound. and our topic is on gays.
6) yesyes, my group thought we did a pretty ok job of delivering our presentation, since the class responded enthusiastically to us and we memorized our script. But no, we were only average as compared to another group who read from their cards. well.
7) involved in some planning for a function. wanted to get a band for the dinner, and i managed to get hold of one band as one of my close friends is in the band. however, the road is never smooth, and the up-theres declined to confirm the possibility of hiring them and paying them. i was determined to get this group to perform and finally negotiated to get the band to agree to perform for us for the entire night, and they are going to get the equipment themselves. and we just need to pay for them to cover the basic cost. they aren't profiting from this performance. but... still unconclusive. makes me mad. so are we having any interesting activity? the function's only a month and a half away. and a lot's not done. it's not looking too chirpy here.

well. i feel much better pouring all these stuff out.

please let the holidays come soon.

it's 2:09 PM now on Monday, October 30, 2006
