i've found myself on board on a fast-moving train.
somehow, i've ended somewhere i never envisioned myself to be at. nonetheless, it's beginning to be a fulfilling experience.
while my previous post may seem to be somewhat of a complaint, i guess being busy made me more organized, to be aware of what needs to be done since i have so little time for every course home work and projects.
take last week for instance. i went for fencing on friday and saturday. after fencing on sat, i rushed to a camp which lasted for 2 days. came back on sunday night feeling exhausted. but since i knew my timetable was packed for the weekend i sought to complete most of my work before the weekend.
moving on, i found fencing to be enjoyable. the camp was also fun, met a lot of new friends from the other unis and also from my uni.
there was sufficient opportunity for us to mix around with others from other unis, by changing the groups we were in.
there was a session where we had to have at least 4 different nationalities in our group and discuss each country's culture, political and educational systems. we were so engrossed in exchanging thoughts and learning about other countries that the time given to us was not sufficient to cover all 4 countries.
yup, night was fun-filled compared to the dronings and talks in the day. we were blindfolded, and were separated into groups of ten. girls went first, and then guys. basically at the end, we were separated and we had to walk individually to the end.
a lot of things happened during the camp.. but there's too much to say.
as for uni, i'm settling in. (still trying to adapt.) i think i sorta figured out how everything works.
sometimes i feel like i'm not learning in depth.
is it because the whole education system like that? or is it just me?
