non stop
yesterday, i gave my first tuition lesson to a korean girl. i found it quite challenging cos of the communication barrier. she's unable to comprehend my explanations and i'm constantly giving her a blank look when she speaks in korean.

after the lesson, june called me to take up a tuition assignment from her, cos her hands were full with five tuition kids. and i accepted it, since the child stays next block to me.

the only problem was.. the kid's mum was hopping mad. cos june failed to inform her directly about the switch and.. well, i was caught in the middle. thankfully it was resolved by the end of my lesson.

today, the day started extremely early. conducted the second tuition lesson with the korean girl. i guess i found common ground. korean stars! haha. she was commenting that my pronounciation of korean words are quite accurate. she taught me how to say goodbye so i could impress her auntie.

had meeting in the afternoon where i met tracy and mayanne.

went down to marina bay right after the meeting ended. ocip meeting! everyone was busy catching up with one another over steamboat, with the girls focusing more on uni topics while the guys were preoccupied with chatting about ns. both our teachers are engaged and on the way to the wedding altar!

it's 10:01 PM now on Saturday, July 22, 2006
