ay, was considering which cca to join when i was mailed the freshmen booklet. narrowed down my choices to: fencing, golf (these two are the only sports i'll ever consider. i can't stand running around a large area), band, humanitarian affairs. a part of me is wishing i can go on yet another overseas expedition. =D i think the gourmet club is enticing.. stageit sounds interesting too.
oh. and speaking of stageit, i'm reminded of plays. just the other day i was tempted to buy a copy of
the seagull by chekhov. i'm still curious how the story ends, though i have some inkling. came across sylvia plath's collection and i wanted to grab it, but i hesitated after considering the price. haha.
which, leads to me another topic. i want to make another trip down to kino! sometimes i'll see people carrying kino's shopping baskets around, and walking down the aisles, skimming and browsing through the books, and then tossing a couple of them into the baskets, till the basket's full. whoa. i wish i could do that too. however, books are expensive when you buy in bulk. and there's simply not enough room for me to store that many books. sigh. nevertheless, book browsing is tons of fun! (at least in my opinion.)
spoke to est just now. she's hoping to go overseas to study. canada or australia, most prob canada. the first thing i thought of was, maple leaves! haha. canada's an interesting place, i reckon. hope her wish comes true.
