solitude; the remedy for nursing hurt inflicted by others.
had a sumptuous lunch at cafe cartel yesterday with bei and deb. caught the movie eight below, which reignited my love for dogs (though i'm still scared stiff from their licking).

life's too short to hold grudges against anyone for long. why do people cling onto anger for extended periods of time and refuse to bury the hatchet, especially when the person they are mad at is their own kin. and whoever said one grows older and wiser at the same time? wisdom grows not with age.

sometimes people make family ties seem trivial and insignificant by threatening to break away these bonds of affinity. why are these relatives, out human populations of billions around the world, our relations? many people remain strangers, some becoming our friends, but even fewer are related to us.

it seems like bonds with families are disintegrating. which is extremely disheartening. especially when i see it continuously happening around me.

and it's tiring me out when i'm being dragged into the picture for no rhyme or reason. i wish certain people would stop making a mountain out of a molehill and jumping to conclusions and using these conclusions to justify their own opinions as facts. and that, inflicts hurt onto others.

i guess that's why these bonds break. when hurt, they withdraw into solitude. to avoid. solitude; the remedy for nursing hurt inflicted by others. while the others think they've gained victory.

humans are far too complex. which complicates matters further.
