syf
yesterday
whee~! no school for the whole of yesterday! went to lt 4 to practice the syf pieces and helped the girls put on makeup.. my first time putting makeup for people..

i wasn't at all nervous, until we waited for our turn to go onto stage after rj. and the speakers backstage kept playing rj's pieces.. then i become anxious.. thankfully i managed to play fine.. thereafter we went to watch the harp ensembles' performances. we were quite soft, and i guess that kind of affected our performance.. i am quite pleased we got silver, since most of the j2s learnt guitar since last dec and the j1s had only 3 months to learn the pieces.

oh and i saw jody! haven't seen her for a year.. we only managed to exchange hugs and chat for a few seconds after the results were announced. guess we'll try to meet up again sometime!

my thoughts... i guess the guitar syf meant a lot to the SA guitarists. especially to the j2s. initially, last year, hardly everyone knew each other's name. we rarely exchanged words except for 'hi' and 'bye'. now, everyone knows one another and there are so many friendships that we have forged over the past few months. we're proud to be the pioneer batch of SA guitarists. you guys rock~!

today
i made a trip to the doctor's today. the lab results of my blood test are out. there are no traces of hep A and hep B antigens in my blood. so the doc gave me a jab. i'll have to see her again in 6 months' time for a 2nd dose of hep A. found out my blood type today.. after years of guessing, it's confirmed.. i'm O+.

went shopping for kids' storybooks. found three great material for story-telling. but the ones that are difficult to tackle is the group of 13-17 year olds. i have no idea how to tell them stories. or even what stories to tell.

it's 3:07 PM now on Friday, April 29, 2005
